Finding Help for Drug Use

Drug Addiction treatment just requires reaching out, we will guide you through the rest. At Royal Life Centers, we offer treatment programs that are designed to follow guests through the stages of recovery, for seamless transitions. We offer comprehensive addiction treatment that runs on a holistic model, treating the mind, body, and spirit for a full recovery. Located in the breathtaking Pacific Northwest, Royal Life Centers at Puget Sound is the perfect drug rehab for those who are looking to find help for their drug use. Our treatment centers only use proven effective methods of addiction treatment, using the best practices in the industry.

Alcohol or Substance use disorder is unfortunately effecting millions of Americans, even worse, only about 10% of those who need treatment for substance abuse will actually receive it. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, the reason that such a small percentage of addicts actually receive treatment is because of the stigma, lack of healthcare, lack of education on addiction treatment, and lack of resources.

Medical Detox

The recovery process almost always begins with a medical detox program. In our medical detox program, we remove drugs or alcohol safely from the body with 24/7 direct supervision from medical professions. Our medical detox services are unique, because we offer intensive therapies for the duration of each guest’s stay at our detox facility. Our detox program lasts for either 4 or a full 8 days for stabilization. The purpose of medical detox is to remove alcohol or a substance from the body safely, effectively, and comfortably. Upon arrival to our detox facility, guests will be assessed for their signs and symptoms of withdrawal, and evaluated for any co-occuring disorders. Guests may be on medication-assisted detox, depending on their case— this means that we will administer detox medication alongside behavioral therapies.

During our medical detox program, we provide cognitive behavioral therapy, support groups, group therapies, and other therapies to uncover the root cause of our guest’s alcohol or substance use disorder. Withdrawal symptoms are hardly the only problem to address in the initial phase of addiction treatment, which is why we use intensive therapies to address substance abuse. Guests are able to speak openly about their substance abuse, impact on family members, risk factors for them, etc. In group therapy settings, guests will also learn about short term and long term tools they can use to regulate their emotions, communicate effectively, and prevent relapse.

Residential Inpatient

Royal Life Centers at Puget Sound also offers a residential inpatient program, developed to follow guests from medical detox and continue the therapeutic work started there. Behaviors that are addictive, including unhealthy habits in sobriety will be challenged and replaced with healthy habit-making. This next phase of treatment focuses on beginning the process of teaching a new way of life, which is essentially the point of substance abuse treatment. Our residential inpatient program at Royal Life Centers at Puget Sound is an inpatient level of care, meaning that guests will be residing in our residential facility. We also offer art therapy to facilitate the healing and recovery process.

Like in our detox program, guests in our residential inpatient program will have three balanced meals each day, prepared by our in-house private chef. The importance of nutrition in early recovery is immense. Guests will relearn important life skills, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, relapse prevention, etc. Guests will also receive a great deal of support from their peers, with support groups and group therapies being the perfect setting for peer-to-peer understanding.

Our Other Programs

Royal Life Centers offers other treatment options, including: a partial hospitalization program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), an outpatient program (OP), sober living and graduate housing. Our treatment programs are designed to follow guests through the recovery process, offering guidance and support along each step of the way. Guests will work with an appointed case manager and primary therapist to create a treatment plan specifically tailored to meet their needs and goals. Guests will be introduced to 12-step programs of recovery also, like Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. These 12-step programs of recovery are often credited with helping alcoholics and addicts remain sober, long after their addiction treatment experience. All of our treatment programs feature intensive therapies to guide the healing process, give insight, and allow guests to introspectively reflect.
