Meet The Chef

Nutrition is an integral part of both the detox and residential programs at Royal Life Centers at Puget Sound. Those who are overcoming a substance use disorder require a specific, restorative diet that is both nourishing and satisfying.

Our chef prepares three mouthwatering meals a day for our detox and residential programs. Our spacious, open kitchen is always stocked with premium snacks, to which guests have 24/7 access. We encourage guests to eat whenever they feel like it, and our chef is receptive to the needs of those in early recovery.

Our chef, Thomas Mack, started working in the food industry right out of high school. He quickly discovered cooking as his passion and dedicated his career to preparing food for fast-paced restaurants.

Thomas places an emphasis on guest care and makes it a priority to get to know guests. Additionally, Chef Mack goes above and beyond to make each guest’s experience a positive one. Our chef is always working to create a nutritional program that caters to the specific needs of those in early recovery. Feel free to take a virtual tour of our facility if you would like to see our dining spaces, and be sure to look at our gallery to see some of the dishes Chef Mack has prepared.

If you have any questions about our programs, including our nutritional approach, please call us at (888) 308-1985. Our admissions team makes themselves available to take your call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Because We Care.
