After turning her life around and getting sober on April 6, 2009, Heidi has been sharing her recovery experience, along with her extensive yoga training, with others dealing with substance abuse disorder in treatment centers for years. She merged the tradition of yoga philosophy and movement to help newly recovering individuals understand how the body plays a big part in learning to live a better life. Yoga and recovery go hand-in-hand to Heidi, and she is excited to help others and break the stigma of what society thinks yoga and recovery mean.
